Wilderness Canoe Trip
Come spend the day exploring the upper Chubb
River. The river drops from a mountain pass into a primeval
marshland where bold mountain vistas open up and wildlife is
frequently sighted. No experience necessary.

Kayak Touring
Learn how to kayak while exploring beautiful
Lake Placid. Enjoy the magnificent views of the High Peaks,
shorelines and Adirondack Camps. It is truly a delight to be
in control of your own vessel, to discover nature's beauty
within arm's reach. No experience necessary. You should be
in good physical condition and be able to swim.

Mountain Bike Tours
Beginner half-day on
road, off-road mountain bike tour. This is a fun, low-key
ride learning about mountain biking. We will travel through
the Olympic Village trails and visit scenic historical
sites
For the Experienced Rider, a fun and
challenging off-road adventure awaits you. Mountain bike on
old logging roads, single track, down hills, and technical
sections through beautiful wild forest. Break for lunch and
swim at a remote spring-fed pond with a nice sandy
beach.

Hiking
Nature Walkabouts: Explore and
learn about the geology, flora, fauna and history of the
Adirondacks. Find out why the Adirondacks are geologically
unique in North America. A nice relaxing walk through the

the spectacular High Peaks, challenge yourself to a
rewarding and memorable experience. Truly a hike you will
never forget.

Trips for individuals or a smaller number of
people can be arranged. These
trips can be customized to suit your groups special needs.
Participants should be in good physical condition. Bring a
day pack, water bottle, rain suit, shorts, long pants,
sweater, ball cap or visor, sneakers or hiking boots, wool
socks, sunscreen, bug repellent, sun glasses and
camera.
