Whether staying with us or close by, our Old World German-based recipes featuring Bountiful Roasts, Hearty Saute dishes accented with fresh vegetables, homegrown herbs and flowers have been an international tradition for over a century.

To experience our "Unique Blend of Old World Traditions and Seasonal Adirondack Tastes" reservations are a must, as seating is limited to 40 guests. At your individually prepared table that is yours for the evening. We share our original family silver and Antique Glasses of Yesteryear.

From the North via Plattsburgh Follow Route 3 South 45 minutes to Bloomingdale. Turn right, following the airport signs. There will be two more turns within the next 8 miles, again towards the airport and Lake Clear. The lodge is two miles past the airport on the right side, past the Post Office.

From the North via Rt. 30 (Malone) Follow Route 30 south past Paul Smith's College. Seven miles past the college, you'll come to a stop at a t-intersection. Turn right. The Lodge is past the Lake Clear Post Office.

From the South (NYC) via Rt. 87 Take exit 30 off the Adirondack Northway (Route 87 North). Follow Route 73 to Lake Placid, then Route 86 to Saranac Lake. Stay on Route 86, following the airport signs. Take a left onto Route 186, towards the airport and Lake Clear. The Lodge is 2 miles past the airport on the right side, past the Post Office.

From the South via Rt. 30 & 3 and Tupper Lake, NY Follow Rt. 3 and 30 north from Tupper Lake. Five miles from Tupper, turn left on Rt. 30 towards Lake Clear. The Lodge is about 19 miles on Rt. 30, on the left side after driving through the hamlet of Lake Clear (just before the junctions of Rt.s 186 and 30).
