The Lodge caters special events for any occassion whether its for your wedding, graduation, anniversary , birthday, retirement or shower.
The versatility of our accommodations allows you to vacation together, yet with the space all your own when you need it.
Three huge lawns allow for a variety of fun and games with plenty of room and privacy to play inside your accommodation and out. Enjoy our 175 feet of private beach with an acre of cleared land before it, always great for kite flying. Play on our beach, explore the woods together, walk the old rail line forever. Fish, canoe and boat on the quiet waters of Lake Clear. The lake is shallow at our beach and perfect swimming for children. On a rainy day, our bierkeller is the perfect family room with ping pong and table games.
There is a children's play area with a deluxe swing set as well as a country school play ground within walking distance. Young and old can use our basketball practice court.
When you want to venture off the property visit Santa Claus Village or enroll your children 7 & up in the Olympic Day Program in Lake Placid. The Adirondack Park Visitor's Nature Center just 7 miles away has easy to attend workshops for children and adults, a nature center, interpretive trails in summer and free groomed cross-country ski trails in winter. We can help you arrange day time babysitting with a professional service.
Babysitting may also be arranged in our large play area within the Lodge while you dine in the same building. We also have lots of baby equipment and toys for rent at a nominal charge - from a baby swing to toys in good condition - a great way NOT to have to pile everything in the car.
Let us arrange a special dinner in our dining room or a lakeside picnic for a special family anniversary or just to celebrate being together. Let us do the work. You and your family deserve the precious time together.
