Children Experiences in the Adirondack Alps
 Children of all ages are welcome at HohmeyerŐs Lake Clear Lodge. We have three children of our own and they are a vital part of our family oriented Adirondack Alps experience. They are not only Mom and DadŐs helper and you will see them in action, but their commitment, energy and love for what we do is a perspective that only a child can impart to our guests in its innocence, straight forwardness and genuineness. We have developed our children experiences at our family lodge in much the same way we go on vacation with our kids. We like to know what is available in the region we are vacationing in and what special activities are available on the property. We like to spend time with them, sometimes they like to explore some activities on their own and there are a few activities that we like to do as a couple. Making Your Children feel Special
In addition to the incredibly diverse activities ranging from the New York State Visitor Interpretive Center, the Natural History Museum, the Olympic venues, the 4 season outdoor activities right outside your hand-crafted lodging door and our seasonal specials there are special children items we can add to your package:

An Adirondack Alps "Kid Kit" that includes a name plate over their bed with a small fun basket of goodies both Adirondack, educational and fun - for all ages! Save time shopping and provide a personalized "Adirondack arrival gift" to give them an early start on neat things to do during their time here and, you never know, you will probably have just as much fun! Providing a special cake with one of our Adirondack Alps dinners for special events like birthdays, graduations or honors
 For our Adirondacks Alps Culinary experience we offer childrenŐs portions at reduced prices (there is a $10 minimum) and our meal plan offers non-dining room settings such as your personal accommodation, the lake-side lawn and the Rathskeller depending on availability and the time of year.
Your Children as a Contributor to Our Experience
The great part of our 22-acre estate is that there is plenty of space for diverse activities and letting your childŐs energy out. As an intimate, personal and family operated resort we also ask that children observe quiet hours (10PM-8AM), are appropriately attired (no tee-shirts, cut-offs or hats in the 1886 Lodge) and remain seated in the hand-hued dining room.
There is such an incredible diversity of activities both on and off the 22-acre estate, indoors and out, for children of all ages in all seasons - including parents that want to be a kid again too! In fact, it is this quality of life for our children that have made the Adirondacks special to three generations of our family and we hope to relay that to yours as well.
