Pets at Hohmeyer's Lake Clear Lodge

ADIRONDACK LODGING, NEW YORK ACCOMMODATIONWe know that pets can be apart of your family and we welcome well-mannered pets at the Lodge! The same for children and adults! We of course have a few rules to remember. Since your pets may have trouble remembering everything, we ask that their masters make sure they do.

General Reminders for Pets:
  • All reservations involving pets must be made with us over the phone. Since only the Chalets, Lakehouse and Guesthaus (when rented as full houses) are available for pets, there is no guarantee that there will be room for them.
  • Housekeeping will not be provided when pets are "home" but owners are not.
  • The rate is $15.00 per pet per night.
  • For obvious reasons, we ask that you not leave your pet unattended - either in your chalet, cottage or in your car. If leaving for a short period of time, we ask that they be "crated."
  • The Main Lodge, individual suites of the Lakehouse, and the Guesthaus are off limits to our pet visitors.
  • We ask that you agree to pay for any cleanup or damage that may result from pet "misbehavior." Better still, if your pet is having problems, don't bring them to the Lodge this trip.

Special Reminders for Dogs:
  • Your dog must always be on-leash while outside.
  • If your dog is extremely obedient (returns to you on command), we will allow him/her to run and play on the three large lawns off-leash. Please be considerate of small children or adults who may be afraid of pets.
  • While walking your dog, please scoop poop and dispose of it correctly in respect to the property and to the other guests.

Special Reminders for Cats:
  • We strongly recommend that you transport you cat in a pet carrier.
  • You must provide and maintain a sanitary litter box in your chalet or cottage at all times.
