19th annual Northern Adirondack Juried Arts and Crafts Show and Sale
And 2nd Annual Sustainable Festival
July 12 - 13th, 2008 - Sat & Sun: 10am - 5pm.

CRAFTFEST EXHIBITOR APPLICATION

Exhibitor Standards: The show is open to applicants in all arts, crafts and folk arts media. All work must be original in both design and execution. The following categories are not acceptable: objects made from commercially sold kits, patterns, or plans, plastic flower arrangements, imports of any kind, cut bottles, objects produced from commercially manufactured molds, decoupage, or embellished objects.

Exhibition Space and Fees: All spaces 10'X10', outside or under large tents. Exhibitors must supply all display materials. Only 16 spaces under the tent available. 2 may apply for electricity ($15.00 in addition). 1st come, 1st served. Limits placed on media style. $120.00 under tents, $95.00 outside. Jury is volunteer; applications are juried monthly or as needed.

Note: No pets on grounds.

Security: You may leave your booth set-up overnight. Liability of all goods left at The Hohmeyer's Lake Clear Lodge, however, rests with the exhibitor.

Cancellation Policy: An application is a commitment to participate. Written cancellation on or before June 1, fee refunded less $15.00. After June 1 - no refunds. $15.00 charged for any returned checks.

*Only 19 miles away from the Olympic Village of Lake Placid, this show attracts a devoted regional clientele. Over the past 5 years, an average of 1500 people come every year to this show, with 2002 a record of 2000 customers. Enjoy a scenic natural setting and an appreciative clientele. Exhibitors come back year after year because of the show's ambience and camaraderie.

Hohmeyer's Lake Clear Lodge is 8 miles north of Saranac Lake, near the Adirondack Airport in Lake Clear, just off the intersection of Rt. 186 and 30 South. Submit application and obtain a copy for your records. Supported by the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA).

ELIGIBILITY: Exhibitors who are new, or have only participated in the show once before or/and whose style/media has changed will be juried. Works will be reviewed based on originality or creative treatments of traditional design and quality of workmanship.

We generally accept ONLY ONE Media/booth.
If you have any more than one (whether you are previously juried or not) List medias and indicate estimated percentage of total display. (No more than 3. The promoter reserves the right to request exhibitor to limit medias represented.)

EXHIBITOR AGREEMENT/TERMS:

Exhibitors may not rent or sublet booth space.
Original work only - only you or someone intimately involved in your craft process may represent your work.
Exhibitors must be ready for business at 10AM Saturday and not begin dismantling until 4PM Sunday.
Exhibitors must remain within their space boundaries. Booth must be kept neat and clean at all times. Inventory, storage, materials, etc. must be kept out of sight.
The interpretation of all rules will be by the promoter and are final.
Collection of all New York State Sales Tax is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor
