Summer at the Adirondack Alps
Within the Lodge we have 2 large fireplaces, dining room, and bierkeller with fireplace, dinner and Lodge guest bar area (the bar is not open to the public) with a little library and lots of space to play some of our games.
The top floor of the lakehouse is being finished spring 2003 as a Lodge guest area with screened in porch overlooking the lake.
As you mosey along our 25 acres of wooded land you find yourself gazing down the 100 year old railway corridor. Here, you realize that you are near an Historic Junction of endless year round outdoor activities.

AREA ACTIVITIES
Unlimited Backcountry Canoeing, Hiking & Mountain Biking treks within the St. Regis "Forever Wild" Wilderness "Canoe" Area, which is the largest wilderness areas in the northeast. There is public access to Upper Saranac Lake, which is only three miles away. You can also mountain bike & hike these wilderness trails or take a scenic hike on the trails at the NYS Visitor's Interpretive Center. Whether on your own or with the help of the many knowledgeable Adirondack guides in the area, possibilities abound.
Golf choose from 8 golf courses within a 1/2 hour drive including one of the finest championship golf courses which is located just three miles away.
Fish and canoe in silent waters. Paddle by canoe alongside a pair of Loons. Let us find and plan a nearby route that matches your skill and ability. In winter experience "ice fishing" in a heated "ice shack".
Ride horseback along side streams, thru rustling leaves during the fall or crisp snow in the winter. Emerald Springs ranch is just 2 miles away a call.
Bike the many trails in the Adirondacks, such as the trails at the Visitor's Interpretive Center, the Jack Rabbit Trails, a long trail that goes from Keene to Paul Smiths, or bike right along one of the many beautiful country roads in the Adirondacks.
Hike right out our door. If you like, hop on the Jack Rabbit Trail, a long trail that goes from Keene to Paul Smiths. Close by the Visitor's Interpretive Center. A small informal NYS nature center offering free trails for hiking
in summer, groomed trails for cross-country skiing in the
winter. Easy to attend workshops for adults and children.

There is always something to do to enjoy your visit to the Adirondacks!
