Thank you for inquiring about having your special event here at The Lodge. This is a special occasion that we would feel honored to hold.
Our wedding packet is a starter for an event here on the Lodge property. If you haven't already please fill out the reservation information request form, send an email or just give us a call. Eventually I will need enough info to get an idea on what stage you are at in your planning and begin to offer a price/event scenario for your particular function. If we have not met already, I encourage you to meet my staff and myself, and to tour The Lodge property. Many photos of the property, virtual tours and wedding photos can be seen on the website.
Wedding/Reception Locations:
We offer many areas on the property for your wedding and/or reception, and some have combined the different areas.
- The main dining room: for up to 75 persons
- Lakeside: involves a catered event utilizing tents and equipment
- The rathskeller and outside garden: combines the use of our "lower" room with the outdoor garden.
- All of our "other lawns"
- Consider a "weekend event"
Cocktail reception as guests arrive on Friday, rehearsal dinner, Wedding on the lake Saturday, with reception to follow on the lake or in the Lodge, Sunday brunch.
- Consider a "whole resort package" adding all lodgings to the above scenario. Most lodgings are subject to a 3 night minimum July 4 - Labor Day and Columbus Day.
- Consider a wedding time other than July 4-Columbus Day or February. We can work with pricing and discounts during those periods.
Menu:
Typical weddings start off with an appetizer/bar offering as they gather, dinner, dessert then the reception and various festivities. With those simple ideas, and the various locations and offerings - We have not had two weddings the same yet!

Event & Wedding Fees & Services:
All fees subject to change and dependent on the special event. Final service fees will be determined on your Event Proposal.
One way to estimate and get an idea of the cost of your event here at The Lodge is by figuring approximately an average of $75, multiplied by the number of people. Obviously each scenario is different. This will be an average price for events here at The Lodge but will give you an idea of a basic budget.
Weddings here range from the elegantly simple to lots of fun ideas and special touches. Each event is figured differently based on lots of variables like number of people, time of year, extent of time involved and where on the property you wish to have your event catered.
Group Reception and Event Fee(s) Includes:
All coordination with "other services" (ie photographer, florist, etc) Special attention to detail with reception location set-up and clean-up including care with forgotten items. Special care with messages to and from your primary people and guests - from planning to event day and beyond. Assistance with directions or correspondence to guests. Placing of special items, storage, etc. Parking, handicapped assistance, etc A specially appointed person of contact for your day. Whatever we can do to make your day special and hassle free. These fees are based on an "inside" scenario. Four and one-half hours is the allotted time for your reception room.

Wedding on Site Includes:
Coordination of seating, placement and set-up of wedding location. Coordination of music, person residing over the wedding, and wedding party. Assistance with dressing location and last minute needs (needle and thread). A specially appointed person of contact for your day preceding the wedding ceremony if needed.

Lakeside or Lawn Catering Fee Includes:
Set-up, service delivery of all needed items and clean-up of location. Coordination with rental suppliers and set-up. Varies depending on location, and reception scenario. These fees generally follow the schedule for reception fee as above but will be IN ADDITION to your fees as this beautiful scenario involves setting up YOUR "special place for the day" - a one of a kind event.
