Fishing Fun Right Outside Your Lake Clear Lodge Door
In one of the last original Lodges still open to the public... within the heart of the "Adirondack Lakes" fishing country, lies Hohmeyer’s 1886 Lake Clear Lodge.
Hohmeyer’s Lake Clear Lodge is the only destination lodge on the secluded shores of Lake Clear - where Einstein relaxed, sailed and fished. Our lake property faces west into the St. Regis Mountain Range offering the most incredible sunsets anywhere in the world filled with the songs of our resident loons, the flight of our neighboring bald eagle and splashing, frolicking fish. Lake Clear has always been known as a fishing lake for all seasons so much so that a lure is named after it: the Lake Clear Wobbler. Lake Clear is New York State’s 28th largest lake is the main headwater of the Saranacs and adjoins 18000 acres and 58 lakes, ponds and rivers - a fishing paradise! For 3 generations, our family has fished these waters - yet we have only scratched the surface of "spots" to experience.

Hohmeyer’s Lake Clear Lodge & our Adirondack Alps experience is excited to introduce three (3) new fishing dine, stay and activity packages. Experiences begin with a rustic simplicity package to a fishing immersion of activities, relaxation in handcrafted lodgings and a culinary treat - great camp style!
All three packages below include a 2 night stay, full breakfast each morning, our Specialty Dinner on at least one evening and Fishing Activities as listed.
Fishing packages do not include 8% tax, 18% gratuity and additional incidentals (including but not limited to beverages, ala carte menu items, etc.)
2 night stay: Prices indicated include 2 nights in our B&B rooms - you are welcome to upgrade to private suites or chalets at an additional surcharge.
We offer three (3) styles of lodgings that you may choose from:
- B&B Rooms each with differing motifs and all with individual baths in our 1886 Lodge. On a wind still night you will definitely hear the loons!
- Individual, secluded and hand crafted Chalets spread throughout our 22 acres largely built from milled wood from our property. Each chalet has a fireplace and large decks with miniature great camp feel. Look out for our wild turkeys!
- Lakeside vacation Homes are 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes with fireplaces, sitting decks, Jacuzzis and incredible lake views. Built back from the shore to protect our lakefront where you will definitely hear the calls of the loons and may see our resident bald eagle. Ask for group rates.
Specialty Dinner
- Dinner: A 3 course modified Adirondack Alps Culinary Experience. All meals are in the 1886 hand-hued dining room. Appetizers in the Fireplace Rathskeller and dessert are optional additional charges.
- Lunch: Available with 72 hour notice at additional charge of $12PP plus 8% tax and 18% gratuity
